Work Day Cheat For Nursing Staff #Mondayblogs

When the New Year rings in we are all hell bent on making our lives better. Whether it is weight loss, better spending habits or more exercise – most of us do it. Call it a resolution, call it a new beginning.

I am going to implement a work day cheat for my New Year habits to win a few minutes back in the morning. I don’t know about you, but I am the noisiest quiet person I know. Seriously, if I’m trying to be silent I become this wrecking ball of crashes. I don’t know what it is but it happens all the time. In the morning, I get up before the beau and as a result I delicately fiddle (read: cause a loud ruckus) finding everything I need to get dressed for work. I think I have come up with a plan to reduce the deafening morning clatter.

I am not an iron kind of girl. Nor do I fold particularly well. That is why I hang my scrubs in the closet. I drape my pants on the hanger first and then pull my top over those. Tada! All ready for work! Here is where things are going to get serious!

Every Sunday night, I’m going to stuff  all of my scrubs with underwear and socks in one pocket and my bra in the other. Every night when I get home from work (and here will be the challenge for me) I’m going to take my watch off and my nametag off and stick it in with the bra. I can’t tell you how many precious a.m. moments are wasted on the ‘Where The Hell Is My Watch’ game.

There you have it! I hope this is going to slim down wasted time on weekday mornings. How do you cheat the clock on work days?
